Beginner’s Bagel Ride
Looking for an easy way to improve your bike skills? This ride is for you.
Beginner’s Bagel Ride
Grow your bicycle confidence
If you know how to ride a bike, but feel nervous riding with traffic, then this ride is for you. We will try out some bicycle skills that are important for riding in the street. We’ll practice skills like hand signals, lane positioning, and how to use gears effectively.
Easy paced group ride
We’ll practice biking skills on an easy-paced ride of 6-8 miles. This will be a group ride led by a League Cycling Instructor (LCI). Our rides are social, slow paced, and friendly. We’ll make a few stops along the way to talk about safe biking habits.
This is a family-friendly event. Due to the length of the route, this ride is not recommended for children under 10.
Eat Bagels
We’ll bring some bagels to share to the ride meet-up.
Rides are once per month
We’ll try to organize a Beginner’s Bagel Ride once per month, typically on Sunday mornings. Check our Eventbrite Page for up-coming rides, or contact us with any questions.
