Photos from Holiday Lights Ride 2022

Pasadena CSC partnered with Active San Gabriel Valley to lead a wonderful ride! On December 10, we were delighted to be joined by around 70 people. Riders as young as 3 years old, a team of Boy Scouts, and adults from near and far joined us for a beautiful night ride across Pasadena and Altadena.

We got to visit the famous Christmas Tree Lane in Altadena, and enjoyed strolling up and down a car-free street. Food trucks, art vendors, friends, and almost perfect weather made this night a treat for everyone. As a bonus, Active SGV brought out ten of their GoSGV e-bikes, and some lucky riders got to try one for free. I got to try something new, too, since a rider was kind enough to let me try his up-right elliptical bike (thank you, Kevin)!

Thanks especially to Blair Miller and Topher Mathers for leading the ride, the Altadena Senior Center for providing bike parking, all of our marshals for keeping us safe on the road, and the ActiveSGV staff for their incredible work.

I think we should build some bike lanes in Pasadena.
